Our Veterinarians
Dr. Randy Miller
DVM – Practice Owner
Originally from Graham MO, Dr. Miller received his DVM from the University of Missouri in 2011. He purchased Kirksville Animal Hospital in 2019 from Dr. Doak. Since then, Dr. Miller has enjoyed providing quality, friendly and affordable veterinary services to the local community. When he’s not at the clinics, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, working with his family’s registered angus operation, and tending his own cattle herd.
Dr. Lisa Doak
DVM
Dr. Doak has a B.S. in Animal Science. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been with Kirksville Animal Hospital through many changes over the years. From an associate veterinarian, owner and then retiring out of ownership many years later to Dr. Miller. She has been an integral part of the foundation of KAH, and we are so blessed to have her working with us! After work, she enjoys taking care of their family farm and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren!
Dr. Brie Helton
DVM
Dr. Helton is from Fulton, MO. She earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science in 2015 and graduated from the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM and a master’s degree in veterinary public health in 2019. She has been part of the KAH team since 2021! She keeps busy outside of work with her husband and their two daughters!

Vet Tech
Millie is one of our amazing technicians! She started with KAH in 2020. She loves her work with animals, any kind of gardening, spending time with her family, and baking goodies for her friends to enjoy! She’s always up for an adventure!
Haley
Vet Tech
Haley has been working at KAH as one of our technicians since 2022! She loves being with her husband and son, raising Dachshunds, and attending truck and tractor pulls!
Ricki
Receptionist
Ricki has been our veterinary clinic receptionist since 2022! She enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children! They are kept busy with their farm, rodeo activities, and her photography business.
Eva Jo
Practice Manager
Eva Jo has been with Kirksville Animal Hospital since 2019. She started out as a technician for Dr. Miller in 2016 and has enjoyed transitioning over the years to practice management at KAH and Dr. Millers other veterinary service locations throughout northeast Missouri. In her free time, she enjoys working on her family farm, photography, participating in church/community events, and any outdoor activities!
